Well, as i said, it’s the Anime Festival Asia Convention, hosted by I Promo, and sponsored by Bandai and Japan Foundation.

So what’s going to happen? Well, Akiba Town will feature many booths from our local KNnM and La Tendo to overseas famed companies like Good Smile and Max Factories, selling merchandises ranging from gundam kits to figurines to probably other relating itsm like mugs/shirts/hats/etc. It also stocks great opportunites for collectors to buy limited edition items like the 1/60 GUNDAM EXIA CLEAR TRANS-AM VERSION that’s exclusive to the AFACON-08, or the GX-44 Tetsujin 28 which is not even on sale yet in Japan! What’s more, the father engineer of Gundam would do a signature on your MG Gundam V2.0 kit if you had bought it at Takashimaya tomorrow, a chance not to be missed by Gundam fans all over the world!

And lets not forget the main event of the two days: Ichirou Mizuki “The King”, from the widely famous group Jam Project, would be doing a live concert on the Saturday, and of course on Sunday May’n, a singer with a soaring-fanbase due to her Seiyuu role of Sherly Nome in the newest Macross series: Macross Frontier, will be performing for the first time outside of her home country! This is surely a chance not to be missed!

Other events consists of the Industry Seminar where influencial speakers from various industries like Animax, Denstu, Imaginary Friends Studios, Pan Asia Partners and more are invited to share their experiences in the Anime industry.
